Status effects are a set of special states that are caused by particular procs and feats that transform an opponent into one of those special states.

Once an opponent is in one of these special states, there are procs and feats that can take advantage of that state. In fact, these procs and feats only work if an opponent is already in that special state.

Countering status effects

Revert is currently the only proc that can reverse the effects of a status effect proc.


The current special effects and the procs and feats that create them are:

  • Status effects were added to Chronicles of Blood.
  • 4 September 2012: A fourth status effect proc was added to Chronicles of Blood.
  • 4 February 2013: The fifth status effect, conducting, was added to Chronicles of Blood.
  • 17 April 2014: The sixth status effect, spellbound, was added to Chronicles of Blood.
  • 8 May 2014: Three more status effects, hunted, hypnotized and cowering were added to Chronicles of Blood.
