A headsmasher is a hammer-style weapon.

A headsmasher is a physical weapon.

You must be at least level 25 and have at least 15 constitution points to be able to craft and use the headsmasher.

Passive abilities

The headsmasher increases your chance of making a critical hit on an opponent by 1%.

The headsmasher can deal between 13 and 25 physical damage against an opponent in each round of a battle.

Weapon proficiency

The headsmasher is a hammer. Your setup with a headsmasher will gain additional skills as your hammer proficiency increases.

Hammer proficiency adds a chance to gain stun to your hammer-weapon setup at level 1, a better chance to gain stun at level 2, and the best chance of gaining stun at level 3.

The demolisher glyph used with the headsmasher will count each battle as two towards hammer proficiency.

Using the headsmasher with the demolisher glyph will increase the damage dealt by the headsmasher by 20%.

You can inscribe a headsmasher with any of the wrath inscriptions for weapons.

You may gain one or both of the following procs while using the headsmasher:

  • Procs-Stun.png  Stun: The stun proc is a defensive buff that causes an opponent to lose the ability to attack for one round of a battle.

You must craft headsmasher with the assistance of the Hunchback, the local merchant for the Underground Sewers.

Crafting materials

To craft the headsmasher you must collect and deliver to the Hunchback the following:

You cannot trade or give a headsmasher to another player.

You can disenchant a headsmasher.

You can expect to receive between 40 and 50 blood rubies when you disenchant and destroy a headsmasher.

You cannot remove a headsmasher from your inventory by scrapping it for credits.

  • 3 June 2010: The headsmasher was included in the first release of Chronicles of Blood.
