I agree to, or rather aspire to, my doom.

Doom plate is a type of chest armor.

You must be at least level 130 and have at least 78 control to craft and use the doom plate.

Defensive support

The doom plate can absorb between 61 and 68 damage in each round of a battle.

Passive abilities

The doom plate increases your maximum blood by 425.

The doom plate increases your chance of making a critical hit on an opponent by 5%.

The doom plate increases your weapon damage by 8.

You can inscribe the doom plate with any of the scorn inscriptions for chest armor. The scorn inscriptions allow you to add specific damage over time or healing over time procs to your setup.

Sockets and gems

The doom plate has a total of three sockets for gems:

You may gain one or more of the following procs when the doom plate is part of your active setup:

  • Procs-Cursing icon.png  Curse: The curse proc is a disruptive buff that occasionally activates at the beginning of a battle. When it is active, curse reduces the opponent's rage and control for the entire battle. Curse is a level 5 proc on the doom plate.
  • Procs-Void.png  Void: The void proc disrupts a battle by preventing an opponent from using any feats.
  • Procs-Chain attack.png  Chain attack: The chain attack proc is an offensive and disruptive proc that gives a chance to deal an additional weapon attack in the same combat round. Chain attack can be gained up to 5 times in a single combat round. Effects that are triggered by hitting an opponent may also trigger again.
  • Procs-Void grau.png  Spellbreaker: The spellbreaker proc is a disruptive proc that gives a chance to prevent an opponent from gaining any feats or procs for one combat round.

The doom plate chest armor can be combined with one or more of the following items to form the set The death knight:

Accessory Amulet of pain
Boots Boots of darkness
Hand armor Gauntlets of despair
Head armor Dark bascinet

When two or more set items are used together, your entire setup receives an additional bonus. See The death knight page or the sets page for more information about those bonuses.
