A coral wand is a bound electric wand-style weapon.

You must be at least level 119 and have at least 110 rage points to craft and use the coral wand.

The coral wand has the ability to deal between 85 and 95 electric damage against an opponent in each round of a battle.

Passive abilities

A coral wand increases your chance of hitting an opponent by 7%.

A coral wand also increases the chance you will make a critical hit on an opponent by 9%.

A coral wand increases your chance of gaining the disrupt proc in battle by 2%.

Weapon proficiency

The coral wand is a wand. Your setup with a coral wand will gain additional skills as your wand proficiency increases.

Wand proficiency increases your chance to gain disrupt for your wand-style weapon setup at level 1, gives an even better chance to gain disrupt at level 2, and the largest increase in your chance to gain disrupt at level 3.

The glyph of the scholar used with the coral wand will count each battle as two towards wand proficiency.

Using the coral wand with the glyph of the scholar will increase the damage dealt by the coral wand by 20%.

You can inscribe a coral wand with any of the wrath inscriptions for weapons. The proc associated with the lifebound wrath inscription increases the chance to resist hostile procs, while each of the other wrath inscriptions has an offensive buffs that gives a chance to increase the amount of damage from a particular damage school that is dealt against an opponent.

Sockets and gems

A coral wand has a total of three socket for gems:

You may gain one or more of the following procs while using the coral wand:

  • Procs-Mind spike.png  Mindspike: The mindspike proc is an offensive proc that deals periodic psychic damage against an opponent throughout the course of a battle. Mind spike is a level 8 proc on a coral wand.
  • Procs-Overload.png  Overload: The overload proc is an offensive buff that always increases the amount of damage done when electric damage is dealt. [[]] is a level 3 proc on a coral wand.
  • Procs-Shield.png  Shield: The shield proc is a defensive buff that reduces incoming damage from vampiric creatures (or from other players in PvP) for the remainder of combat. Shield is a level 2 proc on a coral wand.
  • Procs-Stun.png  Stun: The stun proc is a defensive buff that causes an opponent to lose the ability to attack for one round of a battle.

The coral wand can be combined with one or more of the following items to form the set Leviathan's wrath:

Belt Leviathan's belt
Coffin Leviathan's tomb

When two or more set items are used together, your entire setup receives an additional bonus. See the Leviathan's wrath page or the sets page for more information about those bonuses.

You can purchase the coral wand from the Battlemaster's store.

You cannot disenchant a coral wand.

You cannot remove a coral wand from your inventory by scrapping it for credits.
