Base gem

The base gem for all blue socket gems is the sapphire.

Acquiring and use

A sapphire can be obtained by defeating a coven boss that drops the gem as loot.

Sapphires can then be combined with other sapphires, or with crafting materials, to craft gems that can be added to the blue socket of different weapons and pieces of armor.

The more rare and esoteric blue gems are cut by the jeweller at Club noir.
