The well-dressed vampire will always have a variety of accessories available. Those accessories may be acquired by purchase, through loot drops, by crafting, or as a thank-you for making a donation to suuport the future development of Chronicles of Blood. A few accessories are available as the reward for completing a particular quest.
You must consult each individual accessory's page to see all of the additional information available about it, including any procs that are associated with that item.
Many accessories have level or stat requirements that must be met before you can add them to your setup. You can acquire loot accessories before you actually have the ability to use them. When that happens, the accessory sits in your inventory until you can actually activate and use it.
Some accessories can be decorated through the use of gems. To add a gem to an accessory, the accessory must have one or more accessory slots (known as sockets) and you must have acquired the particular gem from the jeweller in Club noir. The base gem and the socket color must match for you to be able to add a gem to a particular slot.
You can replace one gem in an accessory with another one, but in that case, the first gem is destroyed.
You can gain new accessories in several different ways:
- by finding them as loot
- by crafting or purchasing them from one of the merchants
- by making a donation to support Chronicles of Blood and selecting the accessory as your thank-you gift
- by completing a quest that has the accessory as a quest reward
Some accessories are only available during special events or at particular times of the year. Please consult the specific accessory page for more information about its requirements, availability, etc.
Through level 29, you may have one or two accessories in your active setup at one time.
At level 30, you have the ability to arm a third accessory. From levels 30–49, your active setup can contain 3 accessories.
At level 50, you gain the ability to arm a fourth accessory.
To see the accessories available at a particular level, you can sort the index table by clicking on the small arrow in the "Level required" column. The table first sorts by low-to-high; to sort high-to-low, click on the "level" arrow a second time.
You can also sort on a particular stats requirement or by the location and/or the merchant source for each accessory.
Each PvE location lists the accessories that can be found, purchased or crafted there, and the tier news pages will give you lists of the accessories and other equipment available to players in 10-level sets. You can always access the tiers through the sidebar as well.
Except for the shield of the sentinel noted above, as far as we know, accessory availability and other details are consistent across all of Chronicles of Blood's platforms (Facebook, the direct FB-connect login server, Kongregate, and Armor games).
- 1 June 2010: Accessories were included in the first release of Chronicles of Blood.
